# Anybody have hacks to better use Slack?

Organization, standardizing so keyword search is easier, etc.

In the upper right side of the screen, you will see ‘@’, a ‘star’ and ‘three vertical dots’.
Click on the three vertical dots to open a help menu.
Under the Help Menu, Go to Keyboard Shortcuts for some handy ways to move around in SLACK
Under the Help Menu, Go to "Help" to uncover other How To’s within SLACK
If what you need is not there, click the  green "CONACT US" button that will display at the bottom Right of the Help option screen.
Often there will be a RED Package Icon to the left of the three vertical dots. This is “WHAT’S NEW” ANNOUNCEMENTS and TIPS for using SLACK.  
It provides a running scroll of previous and new Tips.  Click on a topic to get more info and access their Blog. (Blog:  https://slackhq.com/)
