Amazon Lightsail provides a few preconfigured VPS plans that include compute, storage and networking resources adequate to launch a web application in the cloud. It is therefore ideally suited for web applications, websites, blogs and other application use cases that can benefit from easy deployment and management. The AWS Lightsail plans are usually more affordable without sacrificing on scalability and security.
