# Alternative to Rockset post Acquisition

Hello-

This is Mike from Hydrolix. With the news of the Rockset acquisition, I thought a good time to post.

Like Rockset, Hydrolix is well-suited for high write volume, times-series use cases. Also like Rockset, we are cloud native and use decoupled storage to reduce costs and improve scalability. 

Hydrolix is laser focused on high-cardinality, high-dimensionality log data. For use cases like observability, fraud detection, threat hunting, and other  log-intensive applications we are a great alternative.
