Operational systems (such as SAP, Oracle and Salesforce, etc.) capture the data about a business as the system of record.  Celonis has invented software that can capture the flow of information through these operational systems.  From that flow, Celonis is uniquely able to reconstruct the underlying operational business process and variations in the process. This allows companies to analyze the key statistics and measures of that business process and suggest new -- and in many cases,  automated -- business processes to transform businesses.
