# Ability to answer multiple calls on the same number

So if someone is on a call using the OpenPhone app on their cell phone, can another person answer an additional call that is coming in on the same number while that person is talking if it is on a different device? Or can you have the main number roll to an additional number if the line is busy?

Round robin is good for that. There are also other options in your settings that will allow how you answer your calls. You may need to use a phone tree and select your main number then add additional numbers for the calls to ring to if you have other team members.

Hi DW, thank you for this great question. You're right; the line is never busy when you use a shared number with your team.

A shared number allows multiple people on your team to call and text from a single number. That way, you can team up on customer communications, delegate tasks & responsibilities and stay on the same page easily with your team.

Here is a helpful video that shows you how to share a business phone number with your team: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNFoK5Ohe-Q

I hope this helps! If you need anything further, please don't hesitate to reach out.
