Hi! Our employee engagement methodology is based on decades of scientific research - namely organisational/behavioural psychology and management theory. We drew on the work of academics such as Deci & Ryan (1985), Kahn (1990) and Herzberg (1959), to build a model of engagement based on the influence of 14 unique workplace factors, which we refer to as our engagement 'drivers'. These are:

• Accomplishment • Autonomy • Environment • Freedom of Opinions • Goal Setting • Growth • Management Support • Meaningful Work • Organisational Fit • Peer Relationships • Recognition • Reward • Strategy • Workload

For a complete overview of our drivers, theory and question library, take a look at this help centre article: https://help.peakon.com/data-collection/question-library-and-theory-references

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Thanks!
