# How do we get employee information into the tool from our HRIS?

There are two options to load your HRIS data (employees, jobs and salary ranges) in MarketPay. You may start with one method and switch to the other at any point.
1) Manually upload your HRIS Excel files through your MarketPay site.  Data uploaded through the site is automatically encrypted on our servers; or 
2) Use the MarketPay hosted SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) site to share your HRIS data with MarketPay.  This allows for a standardized method of uploading data, which can be automated on a scheduled basis, ensuring regularly updated data in MarketPay.
