# How do I book travel within a 7 day period so I’m not out of policy?

If I try to book a hotel room say the night before I travel it will say out of policy? Not sure how to get around that cause when you’re out of policy you do not earn any points.

If that is the policy, then unfortunately there is no way around it. You should contact your program administrator about changing the policy for hotels. Our 7 day policy is for air travel only to avoid late booking and high costs, but we don't have a policy on hotels as sometimes you need a last minute hotel.
