# why is it so expensive for using my own handwriting

Hi Nonnie,
Thanks for your question!  The reason is that it takes our development team a full week to recreate your handwriting, in all its nuances.  It is an exacting process and requires a lot of labor. The good news is that when it's done, you can use it forever with no additional fee!
