# Can Visual Studio Team Services be used to host npm packages?

Because VSTS is a Microsoft service, I know that it can easily host NuGet packages, but can it host npm packages as well?

Well, Before you go through the trouble of setting up a private package server to host your Nuget, NPM, Maven or Gradle feeds, consider using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS). The Microsoft Package Management plugin found in the VSTS Marketplace is easy to use and only takes a couple of minutes to set up.
