# Automatic language detection for selection signatures

It should be really an improvement if you can install a function where you are automatically detecting the basic email language. We are an international company where we do send daily emails in Dutch, German, French, and English. Therefore it should be a very nice upgrade if you can detect the basic langue in the email rather than a specific signature. This is especially desirable because you can't select a specific signature from mobile devices. It will automatically select the first one and when this is the English version closing your email with "best regards" is not professional at all when it's a German email. Of course, you can work around this for a bit but then you are losing unique options which is one of the added values of Exclaimer. I'm looking forward to this upgrade, hopefully soon!

Hi Dirk,

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll raise a feature request on your behalf.

In the interim, you could make use of our Subject Line Trigger option to apply language-specific signatures by entering a tag or phrase in the subject line of an email such as #FR for french emails when sending from mobile.
