# when is there a google form improvement by adding tolls equation to math

google form does not provide a thurstone scale survey, because Google Form only provides a linear scale which has 10 limitations, cannot use the equation directly. Formations of math problems and answers really need mathematical equations or symbols and this time Google Form does not accommodate them.

We can add mathematical expressions and equations as floating objects in the spreadsheet. To add equations, we can write them in the Numbers equation dialog using LaTeX commands or MathML elements, then insert the equations into our spreadsheet. We can also add equations inline with text inside text boxes and shapes.
