# Can i use this for different version?

Because I have tried several times for different versions of remote computers but cannot connect with the error description of different versions

You need to have the latest Teamviewer to be backward compatible.

Ohh, okay noted, thank you for your answer. So if Teamviewer release the latest version, do we have to buy the latest version to be able to remote in the previous version?
