MIVA used to be good. They had Taylor Swift at one point. They also had Linentablecloth.com, but LTC left for Shopify because of cost and features. MIVA is not as good and costs much, much more.  They are stuck in the past.

MIva is an eccomerce shopping cart SAAS (software as a service) platform. They host your store as well. 
They are more expensive and inferior in features to Big Commerce, Shopify, Volusion, and many other alternatives.
