# Can there be a way to reassign a note to a different user even though you may be the user inputting the information?

This would be for a note for a donor or from a donor visit with information. This is used in our donor touches report. The donor touches report is used to show how our team is doing in terms of contacts through emails, phone calls, and meetings.

In this case, I'd probably enter a Task so that assignment is an attribute. If task doesn't really fit, then you can always just include the other individual's name in the note... For example, if your CEO, Betty, talked to a constituent at a recent event and you are noting this for her, enter the note details as: "Betty saw the donor at a recent gala and discussed future sponsorship opportunity for next year."

You could also use keywords in the notes so that future searches could be based on Note Contains filtering.
