# Why are HubSpot Academy certificates expiring, and how can I renew one?

I don't understand why the certificates I attain are expiring after sometimes because the ones I have achieved from other sources are not

HubSpot certificates expire after a certain amount of time, but you can easily retake the certification test without doing any other work to renew it.
