# How do I stop the screen from flashing when updating

When updating or resolving calls sending emails ect, the screen flashes several times before the update happens.  Is there a way to stop this from happening?

This is a pet hate of mine, I cannot touch type very well and often look at my keyboard so don't always know whether what I am typing is appearing.
