# How to begin an awareness program?

What can be more effective? To begin a awareness program with a training, phishing or assessment? If I choose the assessment people will fall on the phishing? If I start with the phishing people will answer the assessment or do the trainings with the same mindset they had before? What are the pros and cons of begining the program with the phishing insted of the training or the assessment?

I would suggest making strides towards imprinting security awareness into the culture of the company. Make trainings fun, relatable, and engaging. KnowBe4 will help as a platform but it has to be something talked about at the water cooler. Start to think like a marketing associate. Place posters throughout the building. Find creative ways to engage with the organization.
