# How can I see pdf while editing bibliographic data?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a simple way to look at a pdf when editing bibliographic information? My apologies if this has been asked before. It's difficult to have to go back and forth between the pdf and the screen with bibliographic data fields.

This isn't obvious, but it's possible:
Click once on the item in the library view.
Click the edit button (the second button at the top of the details pane that opens). This will expose the details for editing.
Click the preview button at the bottom right of the library pane, just beside the details pane. This will open a preview of the paper that you can keep open as you edit bibliographic information.

You can use the Preview button in the bottom left of the app to see a preview of the PDF while you are editing metadata fields
