# Is there a test environment where i can test my rules before i deploy them or do i need another xg firewall to test with?

i want to test a rule without having it break my other rules, is there a virtual environment or something like that available?

You can get a free ISO Firewall from Sophos and install it in a virtual environment if you have one it comes with free license

As far as we know there was no test environment in xg firewall, you can install xg in virtual environment  and test it
