# Does TurboCAD work with 3D Printers?

Yes.  The most common file type used by 3D printers is STL.  TurboCAD saves in this format with the option of checking for unwanted holes.  Some printing services also accept STP (STEP), SAT and other ACIS Solid formats (convenient because dimensions are included), but TurboCAD Deluxe does not handle ACIS Solids, only Surfaces (such as STL).
