# how to save files and can edit with other design software

Sometimes there are designs that require finishing touches using software other than Inkscape to give the effect and appearance to my liking

Go to 'file' on the top left corner and select 'Save as', then you can save as any file format you want, you can change the file format after saving by simply Renaming the fil and changing its extension from '.svg' to any other file type, for example; '.pdf' or '.ai'.
