2021, Google Cloud introduced several important updates, especially around AI and security. One of the biggest highlights was the launch of Vertex AI, which made it much easier to build and manage machine learning models in one place. They also focused a lot on improving security with zero-trust approaches and better identity management.
Apart from that, there were improvements in data analytics tools like BigQuery, new cloud regions for better performance, and even features to track carbon footprint for sustainability. Overall, it felt like Google Cloud was moving towards being more user-friendly, secure, and AI-driven.
