# What is Influencer Whitelisting?

I understand content creation and influencer posts, but whitelisting is something I am intrigued.

whitelisting is when you have the autorization to advertise on social media on behalf of a influencer. So instead of your brand name, people can see the name of the influencer on the ad.

Influencer whitelisting is when a content creator or social media influencer gives a brand the ability to use his or her account to advertise.

In other words, it gives brands the ability to content and run paid ads using an influencer’s own handle.
