# What would be the best way to share with people that do not have a gmail account?

I know this but even so it is hard for those that do not have a gmail account to actually edit. Which makes it an issue.

You can still share a Google Drive folder/file via email to a person without a Gmail account. It will ask that you confirm that you want to send the item to them.
