Documentation around API integration appears to be aimed at folks who are comfortable with some level of software code/programming experience. My review of docs for API integration suggests that things are well documented and clear; however I am not sure I would say they are aimed at 'beginners' (ie, if you have no coding skill experience, it may be inherently a bit of a steep learning curve).  I think this is inherent in the nature of the product, ie, API driven communications toolkit is inherently feature rich and complex.  Compared to other Voip/communication service providers, I do find the documentation is excellent, and the admin interface is very good.
