# We are about to scale up the number of devices in service.  What pitfalls should we avoid?

We are going from R&amp;D into production so the number of units deployed will grow over the next year.  Are there steps we can take to minimize the potential complexities and problems?

Hey there Michael, biggest tip would be to make sure that your application is built against Device OS 2.x and above, which is our stable release branch designed for enterprise reliability.
