Hey Naveen – that's awesome! There are a number of folks in our community (community.particle.io) who have gotten involved in open source projects as a way to sharpen their development skills and have even done paid development work on the Particle platform. 

There are tons of folks there who would give you pointers, so I encourage you to post in our forums as well if you haven't already :-)
