# Would Particle consider Verizon for United States coverage? Also, would love to see Particle develop a LoRa based module for remote sensing.

Seems like a big opportunity for a company like Particle to accommodate LoRa and/or even LoRaWAN. For example, have a remote Particle Boron be able to act as a pseudo gateway for a LoRaWAN sensors (or even LoRa nodes). In remote regions, with only a few nodes, the challenge is a low power, cellular connected, low cost gateway. Particle does this fantastic for stand alone devices but many times these applications still require remote nodes. Marrying the ability up witll only accelerate Particle in the IoT space.

Hey Jeff – totally agree with everything you've posted here. We have some customers using LoRa radios with Particle today (head over to community.particle.io), but look forward to solving the problems that you're describing in a more official way in the future.
