# How did you start your "knowledge council" and what are some of the early hurdles to overcome?

I chose passionate people on each team I needed to participate to become experts at authoring Cards and formatting them. They feel empowered to contribute but also collaborate so all knowledge is consistent in formatting and helpfulness. Having managers nominate folks also helped with structural buy-in.
