# I dont understand the buying connects thing.

Isn't it better to let freelancer bid for jobs so they can focus on getting the job done and you can collect your fees when the payment is done?

Of course, it would be better if free unlimited 'connects' were provided. However, I think it motivates the user to write a personalized quality proposal—a win-win.
