# What&#39;s the most optimal usage of ubuntu server you have experienced?

Just wanna know if anybody has ultimately used ubuntu at some optimal way and want's to share there experience are most welcome. Being a part of community we can together unfold some of the optimal way to use a tool. Thank you!

want to change or reduce time of the default grub load time:

to open grub configuration:
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub &amp;

For change GRUB_TIMEOUT=10 to GRUB_TIMEOUT=2. 
This will change the boot time to 2 seconds. 
Prefer not to put 0 here as you will lose the privilege to change between OS and recovery options.
After you have changed the grub configuration, update grub to make the change count:

sudo update-grub

The best optimal usage is that you can locate the files in a very efficient manner that we could even store in windows

me and my team successfully provide real-time school exam server for 8000 (more or less) concurrent users (students) at private school in my country.

In The future numbers of users might increased.
