# What does it mean when demos outputs "1 element"?

 Define a list of values and calculate the mean, median, If L is a list, you can refer to the first element of L with L[1]

So whenever you do "[" it means 1 just like x in a equation here's one equation "-[-(-2)] "  in this equation you will get 1 element list but if you put the equation like this:"-(1)-(-2)] " then that will give you 1
