The documentation at https://www.vertica.com/docs/10.0.x/HTML/Content/Home.htm is good, but there are a lot of other resources. If you're not finding what you need, try looking at one of the other locations, or ping tech support, or just ask.

The Vertica blog is a great place to look for deeper explanations of certain functionality, or news of what's in the latest releases, etc.
