# Is there a storage limit on 1Password?

For instance, there are certain files that I would like to move over from other storage services to 1password. Mainly scans of birth/marriage certificates and other sensitive documents. It would be good if 1P offered a better way of storing these kind of files. Alternatively, it would be excellent if 1Password offered a plain "file storage mode" where you can create folders and upload any kind of files. Storage is cheap and I think it would be an amazing feature.

There is no limit on the number of passwords, secure notes, logins, identities, credit cards, or other standard items we can store in our 1Password vaults. We can save as many of these entries as we need.
Won’t hit any limit for passwords or item entries; the only quota applies to file attachments.

Your storage allotment depends on your account type. Personal, Family and Team accounts all get 1 GB document storage per person. Business accounts get 5 GB document storage per person. I'm not sure about Enterprise, but I would assume the allotment is customizable for a price.
