# Has anyone used this to monitor storage devices?

Most kubernetes clusters have some level of persistent storage, either through the cloud provider and exposed via the kubelet api, or from a device such as a NetApp. How are people handling monitoring of free PV space, given that both the kubelet api and a device such as netapp present some integration challenges.

Hi Shea, PV monitoring is something we are currently working on. Since Kubernetes exposes that information through the API, we will expose metrics on defined PVs and PVCs to the workloads they are connected, size, current usage and inodes information.
