# How about including a picture editing and correction tool in word?

Mostly tools available to modify the picture in word but not direct editing of the image. Meaning if I want to erase a part of the picture, I must do that externally or must mask with some colour in a word document. Particularly saying there is no eraser tool which works on the picture inserted in word file

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for.... You can crop an image in Word and you can remove the background (or erase other parts) of an image from within Word. Which version of Word are you using? I'm using Microsoft Word 2016.

I mean picture editing tools like eraser and masking tool. I'm using latest Microsoft Word 2019 and explored extensivey. .
