# Can you please automate earning code "Salary" for Exempt employee?

We are pretty struggle when we submit payroll, the earning code for "Salary" vs "Regular". Current setup is "Regular" regardless of FLSA. Is there any way can automate the earning code as "Salary" for exempt employee and "Regular" for non-exempt employee? Right now, our administrators have to manually input "Salary" which is very time consuming.
After the payroll, I have to generate internal reports which allocate "Salary" and "Regular(Hourly)". I believe, many company is hoping to have automate "Salary" and "Regular". Thank you.

I 100% agree with you on this. Being able to have it better defined between the Salary and Hourly would be very beneficial and would cut down on alot of time that I spend on my internal reporting/tracking as well.

Yes, you can configure it.
In the same way, talk to support and ask for a demo of the service.
