# Why do you limit the size of pdf files that can be edited?

I have a lot of large files that I manipulate with other PDF applications and I do it because this one does not allow it.

Aaron hi! That&#39;s a great question, many thanks!
The standard max. limitations in pdfFiller are 150 pages, or 25 mb in size. 
These numbers did not come out of nowhere, of course. We have carefully analyzed the usability statistics, calculated the average file size and page number, then raised the cap for maximum values.
On the side of pdfFiller users, the situation is currently as follows:
if you are thinking of editing books for publishing purposes, for example - then no, sorry, document creation software is not designed for that. You would need professional publishing software in this case (which, noteworthy here, comes with a very different price tag).
However, if you need to raise the cap for just a document or two - we can surely make this exception. Just let me know or contact our Support! Hope this helps!
