# Can you put a pause button when recording scenarios?

Once recording starts there is no way to pause the recording

Hi,

If you are using the recorder to record web or other applications, you can actually switch off the toggle during the recording in order to stop the recording for these applications.
This is not possible for the SAP GUI option in the recorder but might be added in the future.
I invite you to raise this request to your CSM in order to give more chance to this feature request.

Hi Omar,
A Pause button was added recently to our recorder.
In addition, from the April release, you will be able to save a recording in the middle (with an 'In Progress') status and resume it later on.
