Documentation is detailed, StackOverflow community for ArangoDB is also active, so it's easy to learn. ArangoDB is accessed primarily via REST interface and has libraries for each language to make access convenient. I've connected to ArangoDB from TypeScript, C#, and Python, and in each case, the experience has been mostly painless. It doesn't have the same level of language support as SQL databases with complex ORMs, but the experience is easy enough that it's pleasant to develop against. Documentation 9/10, language support 8/10.
