# Can I use Leaflet as an alternative to Google maps?

In a country like India, the traffic information is not provided by government, some of the roads are one way in the morning and opposite way in the evening. This is just an example to say that while maps (by Google or any other company) offer a large number of services, they are more suited for a well defined traffic systems for the western world. In addition to the map data, how can we use mapping tools for a more dynamic system where rules are loose and keep changing.
