# How to view participants with ease while sharing screen?

Sometime it becomes very difficult to view all participants while sharing the screen. It is important because while taking a class you have to control the audience and you can't do it without seeing the participants.

Try not making the shared page a full page only a partial page which you can do with PowerPoint

Having read the question and the answers (up to this point):

1. I can see the value of having more than two monitors; although, that can get costly.
2. The concept of a "shared" document that they can watch as you present adds a nice layer of interaction that I'll have to try sometime.

Another route that you could use is to have an individual dedicated to monitoring the audience and chat. That way, you as the instructor, can focus on the content.

This individual in Zoom can be set as a co-host, so they could manage things like turning mics on and off and letting the instructor know about appropriate questions.

This doesn't have to be a dedicated individual (although that is nice). It could just as easily be someone in the class that is strong enough with the technology to also be able to keep up with the content presented.

If you are a classroom instructor, I, first of all, suggest that you have four monitors. You then configure zoom for two monitors and since the participants' dialog is modeless, you may place it on the third monitor. The fourth monitor is for you to use to manage a shared document or shared desktop.

However, I much prefer not to share the screen but rather to share a document on the cloud, that way your participants can listen to you, view the document as you drag and drop changes to it, and be totally interactive with you, this also reduces your bandwidth.

If only have a single monitor, then I suppose you must exit full-screen mode and partition your desktop real estate appropriately. But really, a few low quality cheap used monitors will suffice to make your Zoom class better organized and easy to mange.
