# Why are some fonts heavier than others?

Sometimes when I put the link of one of the sources in my web design, the page becomes very cluttered and sometimes I have to stop using my favorite font and go for a more Libyan one but I don't like it

It's a style preference. The more options that are offered, the more customization there is. You can have "heavier" or "lighter" fonts which translate to common terminology like "Thin", "Regular", "Bold", etc.
