# Is there anything in the works for more reporting, templates, functionality in the operations area?

ClickUp mainly focuses on  time tracking/reporting, project management, etc. I run sales operations and would love to see more focus put on tracking sales, inventory, product development, historical data, inventory forecasting, and sales projections.

ClickUp is designed to work for every industry, team, and individual. This means that our features and platform give the flexibility to adapt to different workflows and help make you more productive! 

You mentioned tracking sales or inventory, which is something you can definitely do in ClickUp. 

For sales, I would suggest setting up a Sales Space with Folders and Lists. Usually, the Folders manage all of your sales, but you could always create two Folders to manage inbound and outbound sales if necessary. We then usually recommend using a List for each sales rep within the Workspace.

Custom statuses allow you to monitor and track the progress of each sale or deal! 

Make sure to check out our Custom Fields feature as well, which will allow you to create a unique task field to manage a lead's status, budget, or really anything else you can imagine! This is where you can add data, use our formula fields, or even do projections.
