# What is the best way to show subtasks only?

I use User Stories to specify requirements and then divide those into tasks, for certain views I'd like to show only the subtasks of all the different user stories. Right now I'm using a combination of tags, filters and show subtasks as separate tasks but wonder if there's an easier way to do this.

Hey, Alejandro!

Great question 😁

I recommend expanding subtasks fully so that you can then filter, sort, or group with them separate from their parent tasks!

We don't currently have a way to only show subtasks on a view, but you could apply a tag or use a custom field, then filter by that value to only show the tasks you want to see.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
