# How often is data updated?

I have encountered situations where LinkedIn is updated faster than InsideView

Hi Irene, our data is constantly updated! How we source information is a bit different from how LinkedIn does it. We validate our data through multiple sources (Newswire, 3rd party data vendors, public sources, etc.) before publishing. LinkedIn has user-generated data, meaning I can update my profile if/when I want to, with the information I’d like the world to see about me. At InsideView, we validate our emails every two weeks, and we also have a superb Content team that verifies information (that any user can flag) within 24-48 hours. I hope this helps!
