# How do you decrease the lag on screen sharing?

It tends to lag during screen sharing so would like to decrease that

Get a higher bandwidth internet connection? :^) 

If that's not an option you might shut off your/have everyone shut off their video feeds.

Anytime there is a lag it has to do with the bandwidth.  Meaning if the host has 50/25 bmps they download faster then they upload.  You need at least 10 bmps dedicated to a video call and in today's world I know my A/C, refrigerator, three Alexa devises, and how many phones and tablets that all always connected will slow my bandwidth down.  So if you already have 50 to 100 mbps with your internet provider, I would look at taking turning all your devices off wifi setting until after the meeting.  This should help without any additional cost.

It seems to be more to do with the signal strength and speed of your internet connection. We have better results with Google Fiber than with Spectrum/Time Warner.

I am not an expert on systems, however when screen sharing the lag it might be produced if you are streaming the share content. I probably suggest to create a temporary box for those files that will be share, when the content is downloaded lag is less. 
Another might be to include a suggestion of the format when downloading content or sharing so the presenter will have an idea of the appropriate quality video standar that can be handle.
If the share content is an internet page, I will ag ree that it might probably a lack of  bandwidth or something in the content and design of the webpage
