# Agiled and Slack: the use of In-house and Client Communication

I have not really used Slack, but note that Agiled does for in-house client communication and perhaps client communications (??). Again I don't know much about slack.

Can Slack (implemented into Agiled) be used to eliminate the need for emails? Do clients need a Slack account, or can they view and respond to in-house Agiled communication (Slack channel) from their chosen means ie from their own email accounts?

Hi,

Clients can use inbuilt chat to respond to questions or they can use chat to reach out to you in case they need your assistance.

Slack can be used to notify clients in a way. This will work if you have invited clients to a slack channel and linked the channel with Agiled. In this case Agiled will send all the notifications to that channel and your clients will be able to see the updates .
But the slack feature is ideally for the teammates.
