Unfortunately, Mailchimp doesn't have control over where emails land in Gmail, and only a subscriber can move emails from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab. The best way to increase the chances of your campaigns landing in the Primary tab is to keep your audience engaged. We suggest encouraging your subscribers to add your From email address to their Google contacts. This can be done in your welcome emails, confirmation pages, or within your campaign content. most email specialists will tell you that you don't want to fight gmail on this. they'll also tell you that consumers will go to the promotions tab to find their promotional emails, and consumers don't want their personal emails to get mixed up with their promotional emails. finally, email specialists will tell you to focus on your subject line, your preheader, the images and text message content that you create for each and every email campaign. if you are spot on with your message, your consumers will open, click and convert. delivery will thrive and you'll get more and more campaigns delivered to your consumers. continue to create content that targets your consumers and that will nurture the special relationship the consumers have signed up to receive.
